Big Hill Cycle was born on the roads and trails of Southern Alberta. Taking a break after a long climb, or sitting on a tailgate at a trail head, the idea grew for a while before we realized it had become something real. With over 40 years combined working with bikes and cyclists in the Calgary and Cochrane area we have seen the sport evolve to become more than "just" a hobby or pastime for many. We've have had the pleasure of watching tiny tots grow up through various wheel sizes to become passionate cyclists for life. This is a big part of why we are proud to call ourselves a family bike shop. Our bikes and brands have been carefully curated from our experience and feedback, and we're proud to have bikes from Canadian companies like Devinci and Forbidden as well as international brands like Cannondale and Cube. The bikes you see on our floor were picked with intention and range from getting you from getting you around town, to trails near and far.
